Tour Terms & Conditions
By booking your ticket to discover the world’s most natural whisky you are committing:
To accept that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Waterford Distillery and yourself.
No contract exists between you and Waterford Distillery for the sale of any tickets until your order has been received and accepted, and payment received in full. After funds are cleared there is a binding contract between us to share the story of Irish barley terroir.
Eating and drinking in the Distillery area is not permitted. (Malted barley of proven provenance only…)
Guests are expected to behave in an appropriate manner. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the tour, with no refund.
(Hecklers will be welcomed but we reserve the right to show them several hours of scientific presentations).
Videoing of the tour and tour areas is not permitted, except by prearranged written consent. We have reels of distillery film made by stupidly talented creatives that you are very welcome to.
As this is a working site certain areas of the tour are not wheelchair accessible. For alternative tour route options please email tours@waterfordwhisky.com for more details.
Prices
The description and price of tickets you order will be shown on Waterford Whisky website at the time you place your order. Prices are in Euros and inclusive of any applicable taxes, and any surcharges. Once you have paid, we will not increase the price of your tickets.
Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice. We accept most major credit cards and debit cards.
(Payment can also be made in the form of 100 tonnes of distilling-quality Irish malted barley).
Online Security
To ensure that your online shopping experience is secure, your credit of debit card details will be encrypted on a secure server to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read them as they are sent over the Internet.
Refunds & Cancellations
Those who don’t turn up for a tour, or who arrive late, will forfeit their tickets on the grounds of being insufficiently curious, and cannot be issued a refund.
Tickets are neither transferable or refundable and are only valid for the date and time on the issued ticket.
In the event of unavoidable circumstances or emergency maintenance tours may be cancelled by Waterford Distillery at short notice.
Online booking
Once purchased online tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Tickets may not be resold. We reserve the right to refuse entry to late arrivals.
Any discounts or offers online are available for limited quantities and times only and will not be available on bookings made over the phone or in person.
Please remember to bring your booking reference number or an email printout as your proof of provenance.
All tickets purchased online must be made for those who have enjoyed at least 18 years of maturation. ID may be requested. Terroir-driven whisky will not be served to anyone under 18 years of age, and refunds will not be given if service is refused.
If your terroir-curious party includes those under 18 please contact us at tours@waterfordwhisky.
