Where does whisky's flavour come from?

 

Dr. Dustin Herb and Angelita Hynes are two of the most important characters in the Waterford Distillery story.

Respectively one of the world's leading barley experts and our dedicated Terroir Specialist (the only one in the world) they're central to tracing the unique flavours of terroir in our spirit, as well as leading our investigations into the flavours found through heritage barley, Arcadian farming and more.

In this tasting they'll take you through the groundbreaking projects they're working on, in search of single malt's most profound flavours.

You'll take Single Farm Origin whiskies in both new make spirit and matured forms as well as comparing assemblages of single farm new make with post-maturation Cuvée Concept single malts. All whilst gaining privileged insights into unique research and glimpses of the top-secret projects Dustin and Angelita continue to work on.

A true whisky nerd's dream masterclass – all questions not only allowed but actively encouraged.
