Our terroir specialist, Angelita, has curated a one-of-a-kind sample set so you can compare and contrast terroirs with her on an online tasting.

We're holding this rather unique tasting on Friday 8th March – International Women's Day – and tickets are available here. Though the tasting sample set is only available to those of you in Europe and the UK, we'll be sharing the link to the tasting experience for those of you interested. Just grab that bottle of Waterford Whisky you have stashed away at home and play along.

When you buy a ticket for the tasting, you'll be sent a set with two distinct Single Farm Origins: Sheestown and Lacken, both new make and matured whiskies from both farms, so you can compare and contrast farms against each other in both pure spirit form and evolved as whisky. You'll also taste Organic Single Farm Origin: Killone – our 2023 festival exclusive bottling – if you missed out previously.

Angelita will share her experience of sensory analysis, tracking the flavours we find in those farms and helping you reveal them in the glass for yourselves. You'll also have the chance to ask about the other projects she's heading-up for the distillery, from our Heritage Project to our Maturation Project and more secrets (but hopefully not too many).

This set is only available to those of you in the UK and Europe. However, it'll all be online – so you can join in wherever you are in the world. Even if you can't receive the sample set, it'll be free to listen along and ask questions.
